Empowered Women: Reflections and Resolutions for 2025

As we continue through the holidays, self-reflecting on personal achievements and looking frame by frame at the moments of 2024, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the subscribers of Women Wheel. Thank you for taking the time to engage with my articles this year. Although I wasn’t as active in writing as I had hoped, I did my best to create content that encourages reflection, learning, growth, and discussions about women’s rights. Your support has been invaluable.

I’d like to know what was your favourite post this year, and why?

I hope you will continue reading my articles.

As the new year approaches, many of us have the tradition of making resolutions. Over the past few years, I haven’t made formal resolutions myself. However, this year, a friend inspired me to collage my resolutions using words and photos—a creative way to set intentions.

For 2025, I believe it’s important for us, as women, to prioritize our wellness and the wellness of our girlfriends. By doing so, we can strengthen our rights. This year, we can achieve even more if we focus on building a strong and supportive community.

Audre Lorde, one of the greatest Black female writers, once said:

This sentiment resonates deeply with me and my blog. By fostering a women’s community, I believe we can accomplish far more together than alone.

Similarly, Catherine Walsh often emphasizes the importance of collective action, stating that to unmask and confront the complexities of society, we need to put it in practice.

As a blogger who is passionate about women’s rights, my goals for 2025 include:

  • Expanding my knowledge and practices of feminism.
  • Sharing more personal stories of women who are driving societal change.

Moreover, I hope that women worldwide will:

  • Continue to fight for and advance their rights.
  • Persist in eradicating patriarchal violence.
  • Help build strong networks of sorority and sisterhood.
  • Work to decolonize our minds.
  • Stop viewing each other as competitors and instead, lift up and learn from one another.

We are ready to face 2025 as empowered women!
